Everyday wear
This is the bulk of what we do. Shirts, t shirts, trousers, jeans, kurtas, salwars and the rest of the week, washed and folded by weight at ₹99 a kilo. The rate does not change with the garment, so nothing in the bag needs counting. If you want them pressed and ready to wear rather than folded, steam pressing is charged per piece on top.
What is included
- Washed and folded at ₹99 a kilo whatever is in the bag, three kilo minimum
- Steam pressing available on top, charged per piece rather than by weight
- Wet wash for heavily soiled loads, using a stronger chemistry
- Sorted by colour and fabric before anything goes in a machine
- Folding preferences honoured at no extra charge, including shirts returned on hangers
Questions
Is there a minimum order for wash and fold?
Three kilograms. Below that the per kilo rate stops making sense for either of us, so we would rather price the pieces individually.
How is the weight decided?
Your load is weighed at our counter on Cotton Hill Road and the weight is what you are charged on. If you want to see it weighed, come in with it.
Other things we take
Formal wear
Suits, blazers and formal shirts, dry cleaned and pressed properly.
Home and bedding
Curtains, blankets, comforters and bed linen, collected from the house.
Uniforms
Ground in dirt and set stains, treated rather than rinsed past.
Baby and kids
Washed separately at ₹120 a kilo, with a detergent chosen for sensitive skin.
