Who is responsible for your data

Prezr Private Limited is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Our address and contact details are at the bottom of this page.

What we collect

Contact details. Your name, phone or WhatsApp number, collection address and, if you give it, your email.
Order details. What you sent, what we did to it, what it cost, and any care preference you told us.
Payment records. That a payment was made and how. We never see or store your card or UPI credentials; those stay with the payment provider.
Website data. If you have not blocked analytics, standard measurement data such as which pages were viewed and roughly where in the world the visit came from.

We do not collect anything about your religion, health, politics or finances, and we have no reason to.

Why we use it, and on what basis

To run the service you asked for. Booking, collecting, cleaning, returning and billing. This is the certain legitimate use of performing the service you approached us for.
To contact you about your order. Confirmations, a delay, a question about a garment.
To meet legal and tax obligations.
To send you offers. Only if you have said yes, and you can say no again at any time by replying STOP on WhatsApp or emailing us.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your data, and we do not rent it. It is shared only with:

our own delivery staff, who need your address to reach you;
payment providers, to process a payment;
our website and analytics providers, who process technical data on our behalf under contract;
a public authority, where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Order and contact records: three years from your last order, then deleted.
Financial and tax records: eight years, because tax law requires it.
Marketing consent records: until you withdraw consent, plus one year so we can show when you withdrew it.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you can:

ask what personal data of yours we hold and what we have done with it;
have it corrected, completed or updated;
have it erased, where we no longer need it for the service or the law;
withdraw a consent you previously gave, as easily as you gave it;
nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become incapacitated;
complain to us, and then to the Data Protection Board of India if we do not resolve it.

To do any of these, message us on WhatsApp or email support@prezr.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Grievances

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, email support@prezr.com with "data grievance" in the subject line. It is read by the person responsible for data protection at Prezr and you will get a reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with that reply, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Keeping it safe

Access to customer records is limited to staff who need it to do their job. Data sent between your browser and this website is encrypted in transit. If a breach ever affects your data we will tell you and the Data Protection Board, as the Act requires.

Cookies and measurement

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and understand which pages are useful. It sets cookies in your browser. You can block or delete them in your browser settings, or use its do-not-track setting, and the site will work exactly as well. We do not use advertising cookies that follow you to other websites.

Children

Our service is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data about anyone under 18 other than a delivery address that happens to be a family home. If you believe we hold a child's data, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and if the change matters we will tell you directly.
