Booking
How do I book a pickup?
Send us a message on WhatsApp at +91 88912 54111 and tell us roughly what is coming. There is no app to install and no account to create. If you would rather talk, call +91 88911 54111.
How late can I book for the next morning?
Up to 8pm the night before. Anything after that goes on the following day's round.
Can I cancel or move a pickup?
Yes. Message us on WhatsApp before 8pm the night before and there is no charge. If our delivery executive has already reached you, a small fee may apply.
Is there a limit on how much I can send?
No. For an unusually large order it is worth telling us a day ahead so we can put the right vehicle on the run.
Can I drop clothes off myself?
Yes. Our counter is on the 1st floor of Zion Tower, Cotton Hill Road, opposite ICICI Mutual Fund and above MS Paints.
Timing
When do you collect and deliver?
Between 7am and 9am, every day except Sunday. Collection and delivery run on the same round, so the executive who brings your finished order back is the one collecting the next.
How long does it take?
Three days on the standard service. We collect on the first morning and tag and estimate the order that day, the cleaning runs on the second day, and it comes back to you between 7am and 9am on the third. Collected Monday, back Wednesday. Dry cleaning is quoted a little differently, as 48 to 72 hours, because it depends on the piece.
How long does dry cleaning take?
Between 48 and 72 hours. That means the third morning at the earliest and the fourth at the latest, on the same 7am to 9am round. Which one it is depends on how much is in the workshop that day, how the stain responds and what the fabric will take, so we give you the expected delivery time along with the estimate rather than guessing at it over a message. If you need it sooner than that, call Support on +91 88911 54111.
What if you collect on a Saturday?
It comes back on Tuesday morning. We are closed on Sunday, so Sunday is not one of the three days. We would rather say that plainly here than let you count to Monday and be wrong.
Can I get it back faster?
Yes, on our express service, which returns your order between 7am and 9am the very next morning. It costs 50% on top of the standard rate for that order, because it means pulling your order out of the normal run and processing it on its own. There is no minimum: a ₹400 order is ₹600 with express.
Is express available on everything?
No, and the limits are physical rather than commercial. Shoes and bags cannot be done in a day at all. Anything that cannot go in a tumble dryer, and anything that has to be starched and dried in the sun, depends on the weather, so we may not be able to promise it. We will tell you when you book rather than after we have taken your money.
Why is standard three days and not the next morning?
Because that is how long doing it properly takes at our volume. Day one is collection, tagging and checking every piece so nothing is lost or mispriced. Day two is the actual cleaning and finishing. Day three is delivery. We would rather publish the real number and hit it than promise a morning and miss it.
What if I am not at home when the executive arrives?
Message us and we will reschedule. If you know in advance, tell us before 8pm the previous night and we will simply move it.
Can I change the delivery address after booking?
Tell us as early as you can. Within the areas we already cover it is usually fine; outside them it may not be possible on the same run.
Prices
What does it cost?
Wash and fold is ₹99 a kilo with a three kilo minimum, and that is the rate whatever the garment is. Steam pressing starts at ₹15 a piece. Dry cleaning is priced per garment. Every published rate is on our price list, and there is no store picker or PDF to download to see it.
Does the per kilo rate change depending on what is in the bag?
No. It is ₹99 a kilo for shirts, trousers, kurtas, bed sheets, towels, anything that goes through a wash. There is no item wise price list for laundry by weight because there is nothing for one to say. The one exception is baby and kids wear at ₹120 a kilo, which is a different process rather than a different garment: it is washed on its own, so it cannot share a load.
Is there anything the per kilo rate will not take?
Laundry by weight is for regular daily wear and lightly soiled clothes. Heavy staining and heavily soiled items need dry cleaning or a soft wash instead, and delicate garments and anything with embellishment are not taken by weight at all. If you are not sure which yours is, send a photograph on WhatsApp before you bag it and we will tell you.
Is collection and delivery free?
It depends how far out you are, and both numbers are published rather than decided at your door. Within 3 km it is ₹60 for the round trip and free once the bill is over ₹299. Between 3 and 5 km, ₹80 and free over ₹499. Between 5 and 7 km, ₹120 and free over ₹699. Between 7 and 10 km, ₹200 and free over ₹999. Beyond 10 km, ask us first.
How do you work out the weight?
Your load is weighed at our counter on Cotton Hill Road and you are charged on that weight. If you want to see it weighed, bring it in yourself.
Can a price change after I have handed the clothes over?
Only if the garment needs work we could not see at pickup, such as heavy soiling or hand finishing. In that case we tell you the new price and wait for you to agree before we start.
How can I pay?
Cash, UPI or bank transfer. Prices include applicable taxes.
Care
How is the ironing done?
Steam and vacuum pressing rather than a dry flat iron. The vacuum bed holds the garment while the steam relaxes the fabric, which sets the finish instead of crushing it.
Can I ask for my clothes to be finished a particular way?
Yes, at no extra charge. Front pleats or no front pleats on trousers, shirts on hangers rather than folded, whatever you prefer. Tell us once and we will note it against your number.
How are the clothes packed?
Laundry comes back folded and dry cleaning comes back on hangers, both covered so they reach you clean after a morning in a delivery vehicle. Tell us how you want a garment finished, folded or hung, and we will do it that way.
Do you clean sarees and traditional wear?
Yes. Sarees, lehengas and sherwanis are dry cleaned one garment at a time and finished by hand rather than run through the bulk line. Designer sarees are ₹1,000 a piece, lehengas from ₹425 a set and sherwanis from ₹1,200. Saree darning and dyeing we take in bulk only, through a specialist partner.
Do you provide starching?
Yes, where the fabric will take it. Some fabrics will not, and sarees that are prone to colour bleeding are not always suitable. We test the fabric where we need to and tell you before we go ahead, so nothing is starched on an assumption. On a dry cleaned garment starch is an add-on to the dry cleaning rate: ₹10 a piece for medium starch and ₹20 for heavy. Starching on its own, without the dry clean, is priced per garment on the rate card.
Can you clean garments with heavy stone or thread work?
Yes. Intricately embellished garments are the work we are set up for, and they are handled piece by piece rather than in a line. The charge depends on the nature and extent of the work, so the estimate usually comes after we have seen the garment. Send photographs on WhatsApp and we will give you an approximate rate and tell you which service it needs.
Will my dirty shoes come back looking brand new?
We will give them the best clean we can, but we do not promise a brand new appearance in every case. Deep red mud, set stains and dirt that has soaked into the sole may not come out completely, so the original whiteness is not always fully recoverable. We would rather aim for the best result the shoe can take than damage it trying to reach an impossible one.
What happens if something is damaged or missing?
Tell us the same day or the next if an item is missing, within four days if the cleaning is not right, and straight away if something is damaged. With damage, please return the item exactly as you received it, without re-cleaning, re-ironing or repairing it first, because once it has been worked on again we cannot tell what happened here from what happened afterwards. Where the fault is ours you can choose a re-clean, a refund of what you paid, or compensation. If an item is worth significantly more than the cleaning charge, declare its value at pickup and we will agree cover in writing before we take it.
